We are seeking a wind farm project engineer to join our engineering team and fulfill the following tasks:
- Site verification (civil & electrical infrastructure)
- Wind farm layout design
- Civil engineering
- Electrical engineering
- Grid connection and “Obligation d’Achat”
- Tender documentation and planning
- Environmental assessment follow-up
- Support on obtaining permits and licenses
- Support on measurement campaigns
- Wind farm realization

Role description and responsibilities:
The wind farm project engineer provides technical engineering support to the wind farm project management teams by performing engineering tasks on the design of wind farm layouts, the civil and electrical infrastructure, the tender, and the practical realization. More specifically, the wind farm project engineer will produce potential wind farm layout designs, technical documentation on the civil and electrical infrastructure, and coordinate the associated external studies such as the civil and electrical execution, etc. with the aim of engineering the optimal, most economical wind farm implementation and realization in consideration of the technical, socio-economic and environmental constraints and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
The wind farm project engineer verifies potential wind farm sites based on topographical, geological and civil and electrical infrastructure elements which are either available from respective data bases (internal/external) or need to be produced external or in-house and confirmed by visits on site.

Technical feasibility reports of potential sites are provided to the wind farm project teams and the company’s management for quality decision making. The wind farm project engineer also proposes the optimal site specific civil and electrical infrastructure.

The wind farm project engineer supports wind resource measurement campaigns on site.
The wind farm project engineer is also involved in checking the work of external suppliers and partners, in order to ensure that the accuracy of the provided documents, the compliance with internal procedures and regulatory bodies are met to the highest quality standards.
Some travel will be required to potential wind farm sites to assess the onsite conditions during wind farm development, and significant travel will be required to wind farm sites in realization.
